
Thank God for a new day. Yesterday’s emotions were strong, but the only option I have is to keep going. A part of me wants to forget all about this challenge and eat pizza and tacos every day! But the other part of me says this too shall pass. I truly believe I am exactly where I need to be and that is what keeps me going.
I know life is meant to get uncomfortable so we grow from it but, just like extreme resistance training for our body, it hurts. No pain, no gain is a fact! I am aware that I must choose to be positive every day and some days will be easier than others. I am thankful for this blog because it really is helping me stay accountable. Thank you to those of you following this journey with me.
I have really put into practice the gratitude exercise from my e-book to stay on course. The mental part of the fitness challenge is the most important. This is what will make it successful or a failure! The more we understand the power of the mind, the better.

I’m really focusing on toning my back again by training it 3 times a week with 1-2 days of rest in between. Back fat is my biggest problem area..
I am on track to losing another 2 pounds this week. I would love to lose 5 pounds in a week, but I know slower weight loss is more maintainable. Hoping to get back in the 150s by next week!
