Getting lost today in the beautiful national forest made me think about how lost I was 10 years ago. Like in the past, I wasn’t aware I was lost until the pain and suffering of sore feet and feeling exhausted creeped in. What was suppose to be a 3 mile walk/run turned into 6 miles, three hours later. Being lost is the first step to being found. Pain and suffering, either physical or spiritual, allows us to wake up and see how lost we are. For many years I was living a life clinging to behaviors like shame, performance, and control in order to feel valued and safe. This came from how my father raised me and the pressure he would put on me to be perfect. Its like, I wasn’t allowed to fail or make a mistake but now I know how important mistakes and failures are. It was only when I was confronted with my own devastating pain and loss that I realized my current way of life was failing me. I then discovered that sometimes God’s rescue looks like prying our fingers off what we think we want so that we can receive what we truly need. And often, on the far side of pain we don’t prefer, we find transformation we would not trade.
God is writing a story of redemption in your life too. Find out for yourself that sometimes the greatest joy is found when we are drained of all misplaced hope and shallow identities. In the midst of pain or transition, discover a surprising path to healing as you lose your grip on comfort and control—and fall right into God’s transformative grace. We need to follow our soul. It knows the way.
When we are lost we should go where we feel most alive.

Every day of our lives we are all looking for–a road map to freedom. So many of us find ourselves stuck in darkness, feeling around for a way out.I found the greatest light and freedom in Jesus. I hope to continue to share my story of breakthrough with powerful insights that will help you move from hurting to healing–a journey to find emotional wellness.
‘Maya Angelou once said the most important virtue was courage, as it was necessary to all other virtues–to be giving, loving, and kind.’ It takes courage to be found but the story of losing and finding is both mine and all of yours.
Today’s food & workout recap:
Total food calories for today: 1,918 = (137g, 28% Carbohydrates / 89g, 42% Fat / 145g, 30% Protein)
Notice when I workout longer I eat more calories. we never want to skip meals on long workout days because this will make your body stressed and create weight loss resistance. I may even have a cheat meal tomorrow after another long workout. Nature workouts are the best therapy.

Change more than just your body
