I want to tell you something, your body is perfect as it is. There is no reason to hate anything about it. It is truly magical! Now this doesn’t mean we can’t makes changes or improvements. What it means is you are exactly where you need to be in your journey and everyday is chance to make it better.
I used to sit on the couch grabbing my lower tummy telling it how much I hated it. I use to avoid looking into mirrors and griped my thighs tighter so they looked thinner along with pulling my waist in. That shallow mindset really hurt me growing up and didn’t allow my body to let go of the weight. The nice thing is my body and cells kept telling me there was something wrong. Yea, the body knows when we are not being kind because the soul can feel it. We can’t ignore the body crying out for too long. Eventually the body will speak to you with a detrimental chemical reaction.
The more I hated my body, the less it wanted to do what I wanted it to do.
Hating our body will never motivate us to be healthier, it will actually do the opposite! Don’t make your body mad. For a long time, I wasn’t nice to my body. I gave it so much hate. And my body replied with weight gain, cellulite, acne, and feeling out of control with my body. It took years to get the best goals because I had lots of mental and physical training to learn. This is why I am passionate about my Booty Guide! Its the tips I wish I knew when I first started out. It would have saved me years and so much less damaging to my body…but I am exactly where I need to be.
Once you practice these things, the confidence that comes is priceless.
Todays Food & workout recap:
I came in at 1,644 calories and 102g carbs (20%), 83g fat (45%), and 125g protein (30%).
I had 2 eggs, 4oz papaya, fruits & oatmeal for breakfast, chocolate hazelnut crisp perfect bar for a afternoon snack, 4 oz steak for lunch, salmon and mixed veggies for dinner; ended my night with a second perfect bar.
My workout was 1 hour with my girl through a virtual class. Burned 400 calories and drank at least half my body weight in water! Its hard not to snack at night, can you relate?
