
Aliens are real, is your motivation? True motivation comes from knowing your true why. Why do you want to do something? Is it for really important reasons or is it shallow motivation? I always say that shallow desire creates shallow efforts.
I know that I am doing this challenge to strengthen my discipline and because I know I can do better. I’m scared that I might fail and miss my 15-pound weight loss goal, but I don’t let that fear stop me. I do it because what’s worse than failure is knowing that I could have done better if I tried. This is my fuel and what is driving me.
Foods on the menu for Day 3 included 2 eggs and oatmeal with papaya for breakfast; a plant-based protein shake with peanut butter and oat milk after my workout; 3 eggs and 1/4 medium avocado for a snack; and a 4oz steak and green beans for dinner. I didn’t drink all the water I needed today, but I did my best. I had a cup of kombucha. That is my special treat!
