The baby bump is growing and it is getting harder and harder to choose my pregnancy outfits. And I refuse to wear a curtain as a dress and I hope that doesn’t offend anyone, but I just don’t find maternity wear flattering for my curvy body! Like, I’m still curvy girls fitness.
Dressing a baby bump doesn’t mean sacrificing style! Girl, I’m 41 and I’m pregnant for the first time. Yes, you heard that right—41 and 22 weeks along! I’m on a mission to find the cutest pregnancy outfits, because to be honest, I haven’t found any cute maternity clothing.
In this haul, I’m sharing some of the best bump-friendly pieces that keep you looking chic and feeling comfortable.
The goal is to turn these basics into stylish outfits that you can wear during pregnancy and beyond. Let’s get into it!
This journey has been nothing short of incredible, surprising, and, at times, a little overwhelming, but I’m so excited to share it all with you. From how I naturally got pregnant (yes, I’ll spill the tea!) to how I broke the news to my strict Mexican parents and even the lies I was told during the first trimester—this channel is your go-to for all things pregnancy, motherhood, and staying true to yourself through it all. So, if you’re here for the real and empowering content, follow me over on YouTube!
What inspired me to make this video is YOU. I want every mom-to-be to feel confident, beautiful, and unstoppable during your pregnancy. Because let’s be real, us being able to grow tiny humans inside of us, like we are freaking goddesses and should celebrate our power. With all that said, how we dress impacts how it makes us feel. I haven’t found any cute maternity clothing so that’s right, I’m still rocking my pre-pregnancy clothes, and I’m here to show you how you can, too.
When I think about the pregnant women I grew up around—like my mom—it seemed like life stopped after pregnancy. Skincare, health, fitness, and even personal style went out the door. My mom cut her hair short, stopped doing yoga, and gave up dancing (like her beloved folklorico). It was like she put herself on pause.
But I want to change that narrative. I want to be the “cool” mom—the one who shows you don’t have to lose yourself just because you’re growing a tiny human.
Not everyone agrees with how I’m preparing for motherhood. My parents, for instance, don’t understand why I’m still working out or staying so focused on my health and style. And honestly, I’ve heard it all: “Pregnancy is horrible,” “It only gets worse,” “Just wait until the baby comes.” But here’s the thing: my so-called “delusion” is what got me to where I am today. That same mindset—believing I can have it all—is what I’m bringing into this pregnancy.
Just because you’re growing a tiny human doesn’t mean you have to lose your sense of style or self. For me, fitness and fashion go hand in hand, and that’s exactly what I’m prioritizing during this journey. This haul is *not* sponsored but if you wanna shop any of these styles, be sure to check out the full video here. These are all items I’ve picked out for myself and absolutely love. And once my baby girl is here, she’s gonna be a little fashionista like her momma, I can’t wait to share baby clothes in future videos!
First up, we’ve got the OQQ bodysuits. These are my go-to for comfort and versatility. The fabric is super soft, stretchy, and breathable, which makes it perfect for a growing belly. It feels like a second skin, and trust me, you’ll want to live in these.
Before pregnancy, I was rocking a size small, and now I’m in a large, but they still fit like a dream. They’re true to size with a little extra stretch, so they grow with you. And the best part? You can totally wear these post-pregnancy too—they’re that versatile.
Style them with leggings for running errands, a cute skirt for a night out, or jeans for a chill day. They’re giving ‘I woke up like this, pero con estilo.’ If you’re a curvy girl like me, you know finding jeans that fit your butt and your waist at the same time is almost impossible. I have some denim that I will show later in this video, so stay tuned!
Also from OQQ, I have this amazing stretchy red jumpsuit that I’ve been absolutely loving. It’s become one of my go-to pieces lately, not just because of how stylish it is, but because it’s incredibly comfortable and stretchy. It adapts perfectly to my growing baby bump, making it a lifesaver during this stage of my life. Honestly, it feels like I’m wearing pajamas, but it looks polished enough for business conferences, creator events, or even a casual lunch with friends.
The fabric is so forgiving, and the fit is just perfect—it hugs my curves in all the right places without feeling restrictive. Plus, the bold red color makes me feel confident and put-together, which is a must when I’m networking or speaking on panels. If you’re looking for something that’s both functional and fashionable, especially during a time when your body is changing, this jumpsuit is a must-have. Trust me girl, it’s a game-changer!
Like Regina George’s mom said, “I’m not like a regular mom, I’m a cool mom”. These baggy jeans are the perfect slouchy jeans for the effortlessly chic look—they’re made with a super stretchy fabric that’s soft and breathable, perfect for a growing belly. I would recommend sizing up so that they can sit right below your baby bump. The waistband is adjustable, so you can wear them comfortably throughout your pregnancy and beyond.
Next up, we’ve got stretchy hoochie shorts. Yes, I said hoochie shorts! Just because we’re rocking a baby bump doesn’t mean we can’t be sexy ladies. These are perfect for those hot days when you want to stay cool but still look cute especially with summer right around the corner. The fabric is soft, stretchy, and lightweight, making them super comfortable for a growing belly.
They’re true to size with a little extra stretch, so they’ll grow with you. Style them with a cowboy crop top or a loose tank for a casual look, or dress them up with a cute blouse and heels for a night out. Post-pregnancy, these shorts will still be a staple in your wardrobe.
Bodycon dresses are a must-have in any wardrobe. This pink one is made from a stretchy, soft fabric that hugs your curves without feeling restrictive. It’s breathable and comfortable enough for a growing belly, but it also smooths everything out for an elegant look. The one I have here is pink and I’m thinking of wearing it to my baby shower! If you follow me over on Instagram, you may have seen that we will be having a girl! I can’t wait to share my baby shower in future videos so follow me on IG to see that.
It’s true to size, but if you’re unsure, check the size chart because some styles can run a little snug. Pair it with some cute heels, a matching bag, and statement jewelry, and you’re ready for a night out. Post-pregnancy, this dress will still fit like a glove, making it a great investment piece.
It’s almost sundress season and if you’re looking for something affordable but still super cute and casual, check out ChicMe dresses. Tienen un montón de colores—so many styles and colors that are perfect for any occasion. This [insert color] one is made from a soft, stretchy fabric that’s lightweight and breathable—ideal for all-day comfort.
The sizing can vary, so I recommend checking the size chart before ordering. Some styles run a little small, but they’re super forgiving with their stretch. Plus, they’re versatile enough to wear during and after pregnancy. Dress it up with heels and a clutch for a night out, or keep it casual with sandals for a daytime look.
And that’s it for today’s bump-friendly fashion haul! I hope this gave you some pregnancy outfit ideas to keep you feeling stylish and comfortable throughout your pregnancy.
