Hey friends,
We got through week 1! It was definitely not an easy week. The beginning is always hard since there is a transition period for the body. My body dropped 3lbs at the beginning of the week then jumped back up. There is still a lot to learn about my body. What it likes, what it hates, how much exercise it needs as I grow older and how much it need water. I lost weight at the beginning of the week by drinking a gallon of water a day but since I had less water the second part of the week and some wine with my girls it stored water again. Our hormones can be so crazy but this is the beauty of being a WOMAN. I finished the week at 163.2lbs and dropped body fat to 23.8. I am proud of my results for week one. I also dropped 1/2 an inch off my waist. Progress is progress!

I have been feeling really emotional too. Being single during quarantine has been hard. It means looking in the face of loneliness and accepting my place right now. I know I don’t need a man but I want companionship. I also know dating times are different now. Before I was married and dating there were no dating apps. The apps have changed the relationship patterns and I am still trying to figure them out. These emotions trigger me to eat comfort food and the fact that I didn’t makes me feel great! Its so easy to give into emotional eating. I have to be aware of my weaknesses in order to gain control. It starts with knowing who I am.
As I start prepping week 2 I want to focus on progress not perfection.

Today food & workout recap:
I started my day with a simple shake since I had to run to my lash fill appointment early in the morning. My snacks were Perfect Bars and my dinner was ahi tuna & a kale salad from Tender Greens. I didn’t have a lot of water so this is something I will focus on moving forward. I rested my really sore body today, so no workout.
Total calories for today was 1,737, 17% Carbohydrates, 54% Fat, 29% Protein.
Ok friends, hope you had a healthy weekend and lets keep our thoughts positive!

Change more than just your body
