
We are so close to the end of my 50-day transformation and to my birthday! I’m so proud of the good food choices I made on my road trip to Big Bear all weekend. I returned feeling good about my nutrition choices while being around all the junk food that was available to me. It was hard not to follow the crowd and drink coffee with creamer every morning plus eat lots of simple carbs all day. Drinking coffee is a habit I developed during quarantine and want to break it now–it really throws of my hormones. I have only had coffee a handle full of times this whole challenge. I focus on one bad habit at a time and progress not perfection. I’m also happy to report my weight dropped again, even with my period coming in the next couple days. Check out my progress!

Life can throw you some interesting curve balls and it may lead to undesirable feelings or actions but all we can do is keep going. I ended my day having dinner with my parents and enjoyed some red wine to mentally relax. Wine was not on the schedule but I always stay flexible with the moment. I know tomorrow I will be doing 2 workouts to boost my metabolism and recover from the wine. One more week to go, I can’t wait to show you my first set of results. Maintenance phase is next. It will consist of similar habits but extra fasting days and a metabolic shock to keep my body guessing. The goal was to lose 15lbs but I will be so happy with 10lbs. The journey isn’t over yet!
